I graduated from Baylor University in 2022 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in dance. In 2020, I received a grant from the American Psychological Association to study embodiment and emotions. In my publication, I found that the meaning attributed to arm movements impacted positive emotions. It is my goal to earn a PhD in a social-affective neuroscience concentration and continue researching the impacts of the brain and the body on affect as well as the ways emotions influence our social connections and health.
